Schedule Your ConsultationTooth Fillings
During your dental exam, we’ll examine your teeth for signs of tooth decay. If we find any, we can remove the decay and give you a tooth-colored cavity filling. This composite filling blends in with your other teeth unlike to noticeable silver fillings and provides protection for your tooth.
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are often referred to as tooth caps because they completely cover your tooth. There are many reasons we may recommend a dental crown, for instance to cover a cracked or chipped tooth, to protect and seal a tooth after a root canal, to top off a dental implant, and more. Some dental practices require you to come in for multiple appointments to get your dental crown, but at Peak Dentistry, we offer CEREC® same-day crowns so we can design, create, and place your crown in just one appointment.
There are several benefits of CEREC same-day crowns. Perhaps the most notable include the quickness and simplicity of them. Having the fabrication and placement process combined in one appointment eliminates the need for multiple trips to our office or placing a temporary crown while your custom piece is being created. Additionally, advanced technology allows us to digitally scan your tooth and avoid traditional impressions altogether. Once your CEREC crown is placed, it will both look and function exactly like a natural tooth so you don’t have to worry about adding additional steps to your dental hygiene routine. When cared for properly, your crown can last up to 10 years or longer!
Dental Bridges
If you’re wanting to replace one or more teeth, we may suggest a dental bridge. A dental bridge is an appliance that consists of false teeth that fit into the gap(s) and complete your smile for a natural-looking appearance. The appliance is usually connected to the teeth on either side of the gap. If your teeth aren’t strong enough to support the bridge, we can attach it to dental implants.
Full & Partial Dentures
We offer partial and full dentures if you’re missing many or all of your teeth. Dentures are false teeth connected to a gum-colored palate. Partial dentures contain false teeth that fit into the gaps of your smile and full dentures contain a full arch of teeth. There are many ways to secure dentures in place, including adhesives and dental implants.
Dental Implants
One of the most popular tooth replacement methods is dental implants. Our practice offers start-to-finish dental implant services so you won’t have to visit multiple dentists to complete your implantation procedure. We perform dental implant placement and top the implant with a natural-looking tooth restoration. Visit our restorative dentistry for tooth replacement procedures near you!
Gentle Root Canal Therapy
At Peak Dentistry, we perform gentle root canal therapy and always have your comfort in mind. The symptoms of tooth decay and damage are actually more uncomfortable than the procedure itself. We numb the surrounding area, remove the decayed pulp from the inside of your tooth, and seal it with a dental crown or filling. Root canal therapy allows us to preserve and strengthen your natural tooth.
Tooth Extractions
We believe in practicing holistic, conservative care and won’t perform a tooth removal unless it’s absolutely necessary. One of the most common teeth we remove is wisdom teeth. They often erupt improperly, cause crowding, or become infected. Left in place, they can damage your other teeth or alter your bite. If you are experiencing tooth pain, sudden tooth discoloration, tooth sensitivity to hot or cold, or any tooth symptom out of the ordinary, call our office so we can address the issue as soon as possible.
Emergency Dental Care
Our practice prides itself on providing prompt emergency care to the Clyde community. If you have a serious dental issue and need immediate attention, please call our office at 828-627-1800. At Peak Dentistry, we strive to see you the same day you call!
